Maroubra Neighbourhood Children's Centre

Maroubra Neighbourhood Children's Centre caters for 26 children a day which are separated into three age groups.

During indoor play, the Rock-a-Bye Bears room (0-2.5 years) caters for ten children a day which are separated into their own room with three educators. The cot room and nappy change room are located adjacent to the Rock-a-Bye Bears room.

The Dolphins (2.5-3.5 years) and Preschoolers room (3.5-5 years) caters for 16 children a day which are separated into two rooms with an educator in each room, and have a separate bathroom for children. A third educator is also of assistance to all three rooms at different intervals of the day.

The children have outdoor play (depending on weather conditions). The Centre has recently completed outdoor renovations, revealing two new natural play areas. This now means two separate outdoor play spaces for the children. The Rock-a-Bye Bears children have their own play area (front yard) and the Dolphins and Preschoolers utilise the larger play area (back yard).
