Policies
The Centre has policies on a wide range of topics.
These include:
- health
- nutrition
- medication
- hygiene
- discipline
- sun protection
- child protection
- emergency evacuation
PRIORITY OF ACCESS
Government Priority of Access guidelines apply to our Centre and we are required to abide by them when enrolling new children, especially when there is a long waiting list.
Priorities:
- Priority 1 – a child a risk of serious abuse or neglect
- Priority 2 – a child of a parent (or both parents if you have a partner) who satisfies the Governments’ work, training study test.
- Priority 3 – any other child
MNCC may require from time to time for a priority 3 child to vacate a place to make room for a child with a higher priority. If this is to occur then 14 days notice will be given.
