Emergency Treatments & Evacuations
Emergency Treatments:
In case of an accident or emergency resulting in the need for immediate medical attention, the Coordinator will arrange for the child to be taken to the nearest hospital. Children will be taken to hospital by ambulance and accompanied by a staff member. Every effort will be made to contact parents before taking the child to hospital.
Emergency Evacuations:
The Centre has an Evacuation Procedure in case of emergency. The procedure is practiced at least four times per year to ensure children and staff are familiar with the procedure should any unforeseen event arise.
