MNCC Daily Routine
7:30am:- Centre opens, children engage in family grouping until 10am.
8:30am-10:00am:- Children engage in outdoor play (weather permitting).
10:00am:- All children separate into three core groups for morning tea.
10:30am-11:30am- Children engage in play experiences based on their development and interests which are programmed by trained educators. These play experiences are developed from children's observations and consistent evaluation on the daily program.
11:00pm- Nappy change for children in full time nappies.
11:30pm- All children have lunch.
12:00pm- Children under two sleep in the provided cots. All children over two are provided with a bed.
1:15pm-2:00pm- Older children engage in preschool activities in preparation for school.
2:00pm- Rest time concludes. Afternoon tea commences.
2:30pm- Children engage in play in their allocated rooms.
3:30pm- Children have outdoor play (weather permitting) and are family grouped together until close.
4:00pm- Nappy change for children in full time nappies
4:30pm- Transition to indoor play. Late afternoon tea.
5:45pm- Centre closes
The daily routine is used only as a guide. Water is available throughout the day as are nappy change and bathroom facilities. To meet all children's individual needs some routines such as play may be extended.
